New Characters Revealed for GOTHAM and THE FLASH

TV News

With their most recent seasons now done and dusted, there’s some early information coming out on what we can expect to see in the next seasons of Gotham and The Flash.

TV Line is reporting that Gotham’s third season will see the addition of Vicki Vale, a journalist from the comic books who has been known to be romantically tied to Bruce Wayne at times. Vale also appeared in Tim Burton’s Batman, where she was played by Kim Basinger. In Gotham, the character will be in her 20s, meaning that any relationship with the young Caped Crusader-in-waiting won’t be happening any time soon given that Master Bruce is only a young teen in the show.

As for The Flash, the outlet has some news on a major recurring character who will debut in the Grant Gustin-starrer’s third season. This character is described as “Barry’s slightly older, slightly geekier contemporary, a guy who is as smart as he is intuitive. As such, this newcomer doesn’t buy Barry’s nice guy routine and set out to learn what he’s hiding – all while concealing some secrets of his own.”

Both shows will be returning later this year.
