TV News

After the rumours, speculation, and wishful thinking following his successful appearance in Season Two of Daredevil, Netflix has confirmed The Punisher will be getting his own series.

The show will see Jon Bernthal return as the vigilante Frank Castle, and a showrunner has already been hired in the shape of Steve Lightfoot, writer and executive producer of fan favourite show Hannibal.

The Punisher will join the roster of Marvel heroes on the streaming service, which already includes Daredevil and Jessica Jones, with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders still to come.

No date has been announced for The Punisher as yet, but a new teaser image was released with the confirmation of the series.
