Having now returned for its second season, AMC has announced that Fear the Walking Dead is to be renewed for a third season.

The current second season debuted as the #2 show on all cable in the US. What show was #1? Why that’d be The Walking Dead. Additionally, the post-show discussion effort, the Chris Hardwick-headed Talking Dead: Fear, has been picked up for a further season. Both Fear the Walking Dead and Talking Dead: Fear will air in 2017.

Fear the Walking Dead airs on AMC Global here in the UK.
