TV News

Following yesterday’s news that Vanessa Hudgens was on board to headline NBC’s DC-based comedy Powerless, the show has now brought in three further additions.

Joining Hudgens will be Firefly’s Alan Tudyk, Community’s Danny Pudi and A to Z’s Christina Kirk. Tudyk will be playing Del, the overeducated dictator boss of Hudgens’ Emily Locke; Pudi will be playing Teddy, Emily’s prank-pulling colleague; and Kirk will play Jackie, Del’s overworked PA who has a soft spot for hulking superheroes.

Powerless centres on an insurance company set in the DC world that has to deal with the chaos, carnage and destruction caused by a world of superheroes and villains.
