TV News

FAMILY GUY creator Seth Macfarlane has just landed the task of developing Hanna Barbara’s THE FLINTSTONES for the reboot treatment!

WB Television has charged him with preparing the cartoon property for TV, and then if successful, film too.

An odd choice indeed considering his penchant for mean-spirited humour, but apparently this is a “dream” job for Mr Macfarlane, so hopefully he can resist the incest and disability jokes and deliver a product fitting to the show’s legacy.

At least this news means we’ll be spared another ghastly live-action attempt for a while!

Do you trust Macfarlane with this project? Let us know with your comments below!

I can’t see this ending well. The last thing we need is an ‘edgy’ Flintstones.

Wow. Interesting choice. First I've heard of it, too.

I hope he does it justice.
