Joe Dante to Direct DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

Joe Dante, the legendary director of cult classics Gremlins and Explorers, was a prolific movie-making talent back in the 1980s and early ‘90s. However, in recent years he’s switched from big screen entertainment to the small screen. Who’d have thought that the genius behind The Howling would have such a prolific output with the contemporary version of Hawaii Five-O?

Well Joe Dante is staying within the television sandbox as it has been announced that he will direct the eighth episode of The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow. There aren’t any details as to what this episode will be about, but we’re confident that Mr Dante will bring his own brand of quirkiness to the party.

A fifteen-episode time travel series, Legends of Tomorrow unites heroes and villains from The CW's Arrow and The Flash to battle the deadly immortal villain Vandal Savage, who has just made his debut on both shows.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow debuts on January 21st in the US, with the show confirmed to air on Sky 1 in the UK.
