The much-anticipated Con Man is now available on Vimeo on Demand.

Starring genre legends and Firefly alumni Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion, the crowdfunded series follows the trials and tribulations of a pair of former sci-fi stars on the convention circuit.

Con Man centres on the post-show life of Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk) the co-star of “Spectrum,” a sci-fi series, which was cancelled before its time and went on to become a cult classic beloved by fans. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred as the series Captain and has gone on to become a major celebrity, while Wray (Tudyk) hasn’t found his desired level of stardom. Wray is the begrudging guest of sci-fi conventions, comic book store appearances, and different pop culture events; however, everything is not as it seems from the outside. The series will explore these events and all the weird and crazy things that happen to them along the way.

The series also includes appearances from Amy Acker (Angel), Seth Green (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Felicia Day (Supernatural), Firefly stars Gina Torres, Sean Mather, Summer Glau and writer/director Joss Whedon.

You can check the show out at the Vimeo On Demand website, where three new episodes will be released each Wednesday.
