As Power Man gets ready for his own small screen adventure, Marvel’s Netflix-exclusive Luke Cage has seemingly found its ‘big bad’.

Deadline is reporting that True Blood’s Alfre Woodard has been brought in as a character called Minette. Described as “a powerful woman in local politics who will have an impact on Luke Cage’s life,” it’s believed that Woodard’s role may be end up being a take on the comic book villain Black Mariah, one of Luke Cage’s most notable foes.

Before getting his own show, Mike Colter’s Cage will debut in the Krysten Ritter-starring Jessica Jones series.

Luke Cage will hit Netflix next year.
