TV News

After last week’s disappointing news that NBC was cancelling Hannibal it has been confirmed that the cast have been released from their contracts.

Deadline is reporting that Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy are now free to pursue other film and TV projects.

It has also been confirmed that NBC and Hannibal’s showrunner, Bryan Fuller, are still actively seeking a new home for the show and if one can be found both  Mikkelsen and Dancy are keen to reprise their roles.

If Hannibal should return then Fuller is keen to do a shorter, tighter season comprising of nine or ten episodes.
