The Hollywood Reporter has word that Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki will be featuring in an AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off show. The duo play Lance Hunter and Mockingbird, respectively, in the current ABC show.

Details on this new show are very scarce at this stage, although it’s believed that all will become crystal clear once Season 2 of AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to a close. Executive producer Jeffrey Bell and writer Paul Zbyszewski will be working on this new series.

Additionally, it’s believed that John Ridley is in the process of developing another show set in that world, one that is said to be a “reinvention of an existing superhero character.” Given the hugely positive response to the retelling of Matt Murdock’s story in the Netflix-exclusive DAREDEVIL, you can’t really blame the powers that be for looking at other similar options.

On the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. front, whilst not confirmed as of yet, it’s believed that the show will indeed be renewed for a third season.
