Following the news yesterday that both ARROW and THE FLASH will be renewed for new seasons, now comes word that the two shows will having an annual crossover event. CW President Mark Pedowitz, speaking at the Television Critics Associations press tour, said that he sees a yearly crossover being ideal for November airing.

During this current season of television, the two DC-based shows shared a two-part crossover that saw the two titular heroes butt heads before teaming up to take care of the bad guys. The ARROW episode of the crossover proved to be the highest rated episode of the Emerald Archer show to date, whilst THE FLASH’s part of the event is the second highest rated episode of the Scarlet Speedster show behind its series premiere.

Both shows are currently on their mid-seasons breaks and due to return shortly. In case you missed it, here’s our reviews of THE FLASH and ARROW episodes of this recent crossover.
