We all knew that the ever-popular GAME OF THRONES was returning this year for a fifth season (and is also confirmed for a sixth), although we weren’t sure exactly when we would see the likes of King’s Landing and The Wall once more. Now comes confirmation that Season 5 of the show will premiere in the US on Sunday, April 12th at 9pm.

This latest season will be made up of ten episodes, with the likes of Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Natalie Dormer all returning.

As for a UK return for hugely popular show, at this point it’s presumed that the UK airing of GAME OF THRONES will again follow the same format as in recent times: basically, it’s expected to air the following night from the US airing. If that proves to be the case, British viewers will see Season 5 premiere on Monday, April 13th.
