Ever thought the only storyline soaps hadn’t covered was Zombies? We’ll it’s happened! Kind of… Each day this week leading up to Hallowe’en, the official NEIGHBOURS YouTube channel are releasing a 7 min webisode called NEIGHBOURS VS ZOMBIES.

Earlier this year we reported on Louna Maroun, a popular YouTube star being selected to receive funding from the Skip Ahead Project to create new content with Screen Australia and YouTube. The 5-part Hallowe'en webisodes feature some current Neighbours cast members as well as *no spoilers* some dead characters from the show! Louna helped write as well as directed some of the scenes, she’s also playing the role of Hope Gottlieb, a Vlogger. Some long time Neighbours fans might recognise the name, the character of Hope was last seen as a baby on the show and left in 1993, her parents being Todd Landers and Phoebe Gottlieb.

Oh, and it has a version of the theme tune with altered zombie-centric lyrics, check it out!
