Movie News: BATTLESHIP Facebook Game Launched

In conjunction with the April 11th release of BATTLESHIP, directed by Peter Berg, Universal Pictures has created the Facebook social game BATTLESHIP: THE BATTLE FOR EARTH.

Using 3D effects along with music and sound effects from the upcoming movie, fans have the option to play as either humans or alien Regents as points are accumulated to unlock exclusive clips from the film.

You can challenge a friend or a random player by placing your ships on the 3D board. You assume command of your flotilla, take your turn and fire. Direct hits are accompanied by on-screen explosions on the 3D board.
