After years in development, ENDERS GAME is finally happening with Gavin Hood (X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE) behind the megaphone and is tentatively set for a March 2013 release.
Now officially confirmed in the lead role is HUGO star Asa Butterfield, who enthusiastically revealed the news via his twitter feed, followed later by an official announcement through Variety.

Now the pivotal role of Colonel Hyrum Graff, the commander of training for the international fleet, is up for grabs. Viggo Mortensen has reportedly already turned this one down and now the producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have Harrison Ford in their sights for the role.
Ford returning to science fiction so soon after COWBOYS AND ALIENS is perhaps a bit too swift for the increasingly cantankerous actor but if they have enough money they can probably tempt him. Anything that keeps him away from INDIANA JONES is okay in my book. I have yet to see HUGO but I hear good things (you can read our review here), what do you think, is Butterfield right for the role?
