Cult star Tristan Risk (AMERICAN MARY/CALL GIRL) has joined the cast of MANIA, the next directorial project from Jessica Cameron. Ellie Church (TIME TO KILL) has also joined the production.

MANIA – which the publicity describes as ‘A Fucked Up Lesbian Love Story’ is one of three features in Cameron’s triple feature cross-country extravaganza. In it, Risk will play Brooke, the crazed lesbian lover of Church’s Mel. It’s written by Jonathan Scott Higgins, who co-wrote Cameron’s debut feature, TRUTH OR DARE.  The second feature, DESOLATION will star Cameron and is to be written and directed by Ryan M. Andrews. Risk has also signed on to star as the villain in Andrews’ movie. A feature-length documentary titled KILL THE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT, will chronicle the making of the two films.

Principal photography begins on November 3rd, and they will be filming all three films while traveling cross-country in an RV. The filmmakers had a campaign on their website where fans helped decide which states to film in. The top states with the most pre-orders came down to California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Ohio, and Alabama.  The map can be seen on the website here: www.killtheproductionassistant.com.

Both Jessica Cameron and Tristan Risk appear in another Ryan M. Andrews film, SAVE YOURSELF, currently in post-production.
