Movie News

Yep, you're remembering correctly, go-to action gal Michelle Rodriguez did die all the way back in 2002's RESIDENT EVIL, but that's not stopping Paul W.S. Anderson from bringing back the character of Rain Ocampo for the the fifth entry in the series, RETRIBUTION.

It's not currently known just how Rain will fit into the story - or the also returning Colin Salmon for that matter - but considering you've got not only the whole zombie thing to play around with, but cloning also, it shouldn't be too challenging to figure out a way to justify their appearances.

All will be revealed when the movie opens September 14th 2012.

Love the idea of Rodriguez returning, but of course in a way that they can really make use of her character. She played a good and interesting character in the first, so i hope they expand on that.

Lets make use of her skills people, instead of just having her "in it" and thats all.
