New Trailer Unleashed for [REC]4: APOCALYPSE

Movie News

Expectations for the fourth in the [REC] series are low thanks to 2012's profoundly abysmal GENESIS, but it appears that APOCALYPSE will hopefully be getting things back on track for the supposed finale. Judging by what we've seen so far, the goofy, tragically unfunny tone of the ill-advised prequel has been ditched in favour of stone cold scares, bleak survival horror and the return of protagonist Angela Vidal, three of the key foundations to the series' popularity. The fourth key, the Found Footage element and the reason it's called [REC] in the first bloody place, is sadly still missing, and we'd be lying if we said we were all fine with that, but hey-ho, let's try and stay positive. Check it out in the player below (but be warned, if you don't speak Spanish or have a Babel fish knocking around, you're not going to understand a word beyond "Grrrr! Arrrrg!")...

You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player.

[REC]4 APOCALYPSE is released October 31st in Spain. Expect a UK premiere on home video early 2015.
