GODZILLA Sequel Gets a Release Date

Movie News

It was seemingly a given way before Gareth Edwards’ GODZILLA had even hit screens that a sequel was to happen. That follow-up was quickly announced, although no release date was given. Now comes confirmation that the King of the Monsters will return on 8th June, 2018.

From recent Comic-Con teases and rumours, it appears that the sequel will see Big G potentially joined by Rodon, Mothra and King Ghidora, although some of these may be held off until a further film in the series.

Whilst Edwards will be returning to direct, he’ll first be tackling the small matter of the first of those standalone STAR WARS movies, currently scheduled for a 16th December, 2016 release.
