Getting any snippet of information about J.J. Abrams’ STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is as tough as beating a Wookiee at chess. That said, it appears we’ve just gotten one of our first looks at just what Luke Skywalker will look like in this first of the new STAR WARS trilogy. Check out the image below to see a beardy Mark Hamill.

The image itself was taken by Hamill’s son, Nathan Hamill, for his own website and features Hamill Jnr’s Lava Bear character. This picture just happened to have been snapped at Pinewood Studios, where EPISODE VII is being filmed. It was presumed Hamill would be featuring a classic Obi-Wan-type beard and here he is.

At present, despite the recent injury to Harrison Ford, STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is currently set for an 18th December, 2015 release.
