News: Now Rupert Grint's Involved, Expect POSTMAN PAT Movie To Really Deliver!

Movie News

Well, well, well – looks like our Editor Mike Royce might just have to eat his words! Seems that my favourite HARRY POTTER star Rupert Grint has gone and landed himself a MAJOR role in another potential British BLOCKBUSTER film franchise… POSTMAN PAT: THE MOVIE! Boom.

The film will mark the first feature length outing for the beloved British children’s character, and although Rupe won’t be essaying Pat himself (that honour goes to comedian Stephen Mangan off of something called GREEN WING) but my sources claim he’ll lend his silky vocals to the arguably more important Julian, HIS SON!

Upon hearing the news I immediately gave my homeboy a ring and asked him to say a few words [‘Don’t lie’ – News Ed] "I used to watch Postman Pat when I was a small boy. My brother and sisters all did at some stage”, he said, blowing my mind. "Postman Pat is one of those British symbols, I suppose. You are totally familiar with him and his cat Jess, even if you have never watched the series. How exciting to be part of the Postman Pat heritage." Couldn’t have said it better myself, RG!

There’s some other people in the movie too - David Tennant and Jim Broadbent - but as I’m not really interested in them so you can look them up on a site I recently came across called The Internets Movie Databasis.

Nice one, Grinty! (That’s what I call him, we’re close friends. It's Mr Grint to you.)

POSTMAN PAT: THE MOVIE – YOU KNOW YOU’RE THE ONE (fantastic title) is released in the pictures in the Spring of 2013. And it's in 3D too! Awesome sauce!

The actual bet was about Daniel Radcliffe. Anyone who gives me a downloaded copy of the 17th July 2011 show on 17th July 2021 (10 yrs later)AND Radcliffe has on that day got a film out on release - I will give them £500. I am gonna win that one!

Hang on, didn't the editor of Starburst say he would personally give £500 to everyone if Rupert got another major film role?
