Movie News

News of more barrel-scraping from Hollywood just in! America's CW network have announced that they're rebooting the TV show BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Y'know, the one nobody watched (who I've met anyway) that starred TERMINATOR star Linda Hamilton and HELLBOY himself Ron Pearlman in a lion mask?

The new incarnation will be written by writers Jennifer Levin & Sherri Cooper (of WITHOUT A TRACE and BROTHERS AND SISTERS respectively) and is being pitched as a "modern day romantic love story with a procedural twist".

Don't know about you, but I'm firing up the Sky+ as we speak!

The original show was created in 1987 and was cancelled after 3 seasons. It'll be lucky if the remake lasts 3 episodes.
