Now this is far from an official look just yet, but the guys over at JustifiedFiilms have posted what appears to be the first look at The Thing from Josh Trank’s FANTASTIC FOUR reboot.

Yes, the more eagle-eyed of you will realise that the picture is indeed just of a bust, but it’s said to be on the set of the FF redo as a placeholder, for lighting reasons, and for something for the other actors to interact with. The majority of The Thing will be created in post-production, but the above image seems to give an indication of what the post-transformed Ben Grimm will look like.

Currently shooting, THE FANTASTIC FOUR features Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Toby Kebbell as Victor von Doom/Dr. Doom, Tim Blake Nelson as Harvey Elder/Moleman, and Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Franklin Storm.

To be directed by Trank, this revamped FF is set for an 18th June, 2015 release, with a sequel already confirmed for 14th July, 2017.
