Further to the recent report that Shane Black will be directing the PREDATOR reboot, the fantastic news is that it now appears it will in fact be a sequel!

Speaking to Collider, Black said, "As far as Fred and I are concerned anyway, why start over, when you’ve all this rich mythology yet to mine? I like the idea of expanding and exploring the existing PREDATOR mythology, rather than hitting the restart button."
Naturally, this pleases us greatly, and puts the project firmly back into our good books, and we're keen to see where he and writer Fred Dekker will take the franchise.
