Movie News: Omar Sy Joins JURASSIC WORLD

Taking to Twitter, Cesar Award-winning Omar Sy has confirmed that he’s the latest name to join Colin Trevorrow’s JURASSIC WORLD.

Sy said, “Fan of this saga from the beginning, I’m very proud to be part of the cast for JURASSIC WORLD#jurassicworld @UniversalPics @colintrevorrow

Following up on this, Trevorrow polished off his French, saying, “Très heureux d’accueillir @OmarSy dans Jurassic World.@JurassicParkFR

Sy joins a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrgan Khan and BD Wong. Directed by Trevorrow and produced by Steven Spielberg, JURASSIC WORLD is currently scheduled for a 12th June, 2015 release.

In the meantime, Sy, who won his Cesar for THE INTOUCHABLES, will next be seen as Bishop in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, which is released in May.
