Movie News

Wow! If this is true then it means that 20th Century Fox has certainly been listening to fans. Yes, it’s been reported by Bleeding Cool that Fox is looking to start again with with its FANTASTIC FOUR reboot.

The report claims that director Josh Trank and the entire cast, Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell, have all been fired, with Simon Kinberg’s script thrown in the bin. Now, a few other reports have cropped up to say that some Fox higher-ups have moved to play down this rumour, but Bleeding Cool is adamant about their story, sticking by their source.

Whilst, if true, this would cause a whole host of FF fans to rejoice, it does seem a remarkably bold move for the studio, too bold. Treat this purely as rumour for now, but we can only hope, right? The studio does have slight previous for this, having began putting together a new Daredevil movie at one point before scrapping the idea and letting the rights for the character revert back to Marvel.

Expect more on this as and when it develops.
