Movie News

This news comes from the top of MI5. Mr Mallory aka M aka Ralph Fiennes has spilled the beans that filming may commence this coming October. Even though Fiennes hasn’t even laid eyes on the script, he doesn’t believe it will be long before he will be keeping an eye on Daniel Craig’s James Bond.

Fiennes told MTV News: "It's meant to start shooting in October… I haven't read a script yet, so I can't tell you much. They'd probably swear me to secrecy anyway."

This news is more than welcome because little is known about this next installment of everyone’s favourite Martini sipping agent. The 23rd installment and 50th anniversary film, Skyfall, created an enormous amount of buzz, increasing the fan base and satisfying old fans. In particular the (re)introduction of characters like Miss Moneypenny (Naomi Harris), Q (Ben Whishaw) and Fiennes’ new M (replacing Judi Dench) created huge anticipation for a sequel. Fans of all eras are sure to be excited to see how these characters will be involved in Bond 24. The fact that Skyfall director Sam Mendes and Screenwriter John Logan are returning to the project as well will only add to the excitement.

Other than the return of all the major players mentioned above, not much else is know. And if Ralph Fiennes’ diary is to be believed, then Bond 24 will have little over a year to film and post-produce to meet their November 6 2015 deadline.
