Remember towards the end of last year when Kevin Smith swooned over Ben Affleck’s batsuit? It appears that Jennifer Garner is also of fan of her beau’s Batman outfit.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the SAG Awards, Mrs. Affleck enthused, “I’ve seen the suit. It’s unbelievably cool, it’s a total reinvention, it looks great.”

Now of course, Garner isn’t going to come out and say that the suit looks like a turd with nipples, but it’s definitely another PR thumbs up for Affleck’s batsuit in the conscious of the general public.

As for Smith, the writer/director admitted to getting glassy-eyed and throwing out hugs to Zack Snyder upon seeing a pic of Affleck in the suit. Smith, a lifelong Bat-fan, added that the suit in Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL sequel is a batsuit that he thought he’d never seen come to fruition on the big screen. That quickly prompted rumours that this new Batman outfit will resemble the one seen in Frank Miller’s THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, a book that Smith gushes about (and rightly so). Since then, the word on the street is that Affleck’s batsuit will actually have something of the Jim Lee about it. Jim Lee? Arguably the best comic book artist of all time (or at least this writer’s favourite)? Yes, yes please.

Regardless of what Affleck looks like as the Caped Crusader, his big screen Superman tear-up/team-up has been recently pushed back from 17th July, 2015 until 6th May, 2016.
