It's safe to assume that most of you had the same reaction to this trailer as we did here at Starburst. It looks rubbish! But what does the original creator of the HELLRAISER franchise think? Let's hand over to Clive Barker himself:

"Hello,my friends. I want to put on record that the flic out there using the word Hellraiser IS NO F*****' CHILD OF MINE! I have NOTHING to do with the f*****' thing. If they claim it's from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."

Don't be shy Clive, tell us what you really think!

At least some entertainment value was gleamed from this news piece after all!

The HELLRAISER movies continue (albeit on home video) with this, the ninth(!) entry into the franchise. No Doug Bradley this time out sadly (Stephan Smith Collins takes over the Pinhead role), and by the looks of it they probably couldn't afford him - the budget appears to be a little on the low side. It might be the case that Dimension could be saving their pennies for the proposed reboot. Anyway, see what you guys think...

'Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Once they go missing, family members go in search of them but find Pinhead instead.'

Okay, so this all might be somewhat disappointing for HELLRAISER fans - but all is not lost! For a chance to win an awesome piece of signed Doug Bradley/Pinhead memorabilia, go here.

HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS is released on DVD/Blu-ray in the US October 18th. There's currently no UK date scheduled, but we expect it to arrive on our shores shortly after.
