Speaking to Metro, Luke Evans has been talking about the upcoming reboot of THE CROW and how he holds no fear of the apparent 'curse' that has haunted THE CROW series ever since Brandon Lee was tragically killed on the set of the first film.

Evans said, "It is incredibly sad that Brandon died making the movie. He was a very talented actor. It is a very beautiful story, THE CROW. It is a very tragic story with huge emotional themes. We plan to tell the story differently and with a lot of integrity to the original comic book."

The actor also went on to hammer home his 'no fear' attitude by proclaiming that, during a stint living in New Zealand, he would "take the car and go down to the South Island for five or six days and climb glaciers and jump out of planes and jump off bridges and go white water rafting - a bit of thrill-seeking." That particular time in New Zealand just happened to be during the filming of THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG - in cinemas imminently.

F. Javier Gutierrez is directing this latest version of THE CROW, with very little details known on the cast. THE WALKING DEAD's Norman Reedus is apparently in talks to join the reboot in an unspecified role, whilst the story will follow the tragic, tormented tale of Eric Draven. After he and his 'one true' are brutally murdered, Draven channels the spirit of The Crow to come back from the dead and exact some good old-fashioned revenge.

No release date has been announced for Gutierrez's THE CROW at this time.
