Wolfman TV Series News

Deadline is reporting that NBC is looking to develop a new TV series based on Universal’s classic Wolfman character. The report claims that the series will be tied to the 2010 Benicio Del Toro-starring THE WOLFMAN.

The report goes on to say that the series “is described as a supernatural thriller that explores what it means to be a man and to be human. It centres on Lawrence Talbot, who is afflicted by an ancient curse and jacks into the powerful, primordial soul of the alpha-predator.”

It’s also confirmed that the WOLFMAN show will be headed up by Dan Knauf, who’s working as a writer and executive producer on NBC’s DRACULA series. Knauf has also previously worked on the likes of WOLF LAKE and CARNIVALE.

Expect more on this as it becomes available.
