Movie News: And the Working Titles of STAR WARS EPISODE VII Are…

Movie News

Yep, it’s Star Wars: Episode VII rumour time! Yaaaay! Today’s slice o’ probable Bantha poodoo comes courtesy of those crafty traffic baiters the Latino Review, who are reporting that they’ve become privy to two working titles that George Lucas was kicking around for the first in the new trilogy (which we recently learnt he’d been developing for a few years now). Those titles are:

Star Wars: Episode VII - Rise of the Jedi

Star Wars: Episode VII - Return of the Sith

We pray it’s neither, because let’s face it, they’re both far too pedestrian, and more importantly, they’re both going to screw up the way us folk abbreviate the titles. When we refer to our problems with so and so in the third act of RotJ, who’s going to know whether we’re talking about Episode VI or VII?! Samsies with RotS! We don’t want to even think about it.

But seriously, nah. Those guys can do better. And so can you. Best Star Wars title idea gets a free copy of one of our issues! Drop ‘em in the comments below or on the Twitters…

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII opens sometime in 2015.

I know what you mean about those abbreviation problems. In a few years when I say "JJ ruined Star Wars for me" how are they going to know whether I mean Abrams or Binks???
