Troll Hunter Remake

Deadline is reporting that 2010’s TROLL HUNTER is being remade by Britain’s very own Neil Marshall. One of the most exciting names in British horror, Marshall is best known for the likes of DOG SOLDIERS, THE DESCENT, DOOMSDAY and CENTURION.

The original TROLL HUNTER, by André Øvredal, is a found footage documentary-type affair, chronicling a group of students in search of a hunter that is slaying giant trolls. The film generally received praise across the board from fans and critics, and it will be interesting to see what Marshall brings to the table.

Neil Marshall will be on writing and directing duties for the remake, with an early 2014 shoot planned.

Expect more on this as it becomes available.
