Movie News: Hugh Jackman Talks Up X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Movie News

Many people often complain about the continuity issues in the X-MEN films, pointing out the various inconsistencies in the timeline, the characters, and the stories. The filmmakers have obviously realized this, because next summer's X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will attempt to rectify these paradoxes by bringing together the cast from Bryan Singer's original trilogy and the cast from 2011's hit X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.

Hugh Jackman recently sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss the film and what fans can expect from Singer's latest offering, saying, "I know, having sat at Comic-Con on that panel with that extraordinary cast, I keep saying it's like two movies in one, but with the size of it it's really three in one. It really is going to blow people away because of the story. Bryan Singer, I think, is going to become the first director to make increasingly better movies in a franchise, I'm not sure if there's anyone else that's done it."

Watch the whole interview with Jackman over at Access Hollywood.

X-MEN:DAYS OF FUTURE PAST hits theaters on May 23rd, 2014. What do you think? Are you pumped for this upcoming X-Men film? Or are you tired of the movies and sticking to the comics?
