Movie News

In a recent interview with DigitalSpy, Justin Timberlake revealed that he has no interest in playing any superheroes, although a certain villain does appeal to him.

The SOUTHLAND TALES star said, "I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie, but a villain... I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funnily enough, is The Riddler. The Riddler is my favourite villain. The Riddler was a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So If I'm gonna play crazy, I wanna play proper crazy."

With Batman set to play a large part in the MAN OF STEEL sequel, it’s inevitable that the Caped Crusader will get a few of his own films over the next decade or so. Even if the MAN OF STEEL sequel bombs, most of that blame will be placed at Superman’s door. So, with new Batman comes new villains.

Considering the WB shocked everybody by naming Ben Affleck as Batman, JT playing Edward Nigma’s is maybe not quite as crazy an idea as it sounds.
