Movie News

Since 2009, Arrow Video have been improving our DVD/Blu-ray collections with definitive editions of our favourite cult films of old. Each and every title, no matter how obscure (they gave us MOTEL HELL back in May!), receives the utmost reverence: premium audio and picture quality, reversible covers incorporating gorgeous poster art old and new, high quality special features (a rarity these days), collector’s booklets, the lot. These releases are matchless in quality and the closest thing the UK has to the acclaimed US label Criterion… the only difference being Arrow has much better taste in movies.

Here then is a special, exclusive look at Arrow’s releases past, present and, most excitingly of all… future (keep your eyes peeled for two very interesting unannounced titles heading our way in 2014!). Enjoy…

You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player.

Did you spot them? That's right, Joe Dante’s THE ‘BURBS and John Carpenter’s BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA are both getting the Arrow treatment in early 2014! Fantastic. Hitting much sooner though are the Tobe Hooper classics THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 (October 14th) and LIFEFORCE (September 30th), both of which can be pre-ordered through your vendor of choice right now. (But if you click on either title you’ll notice we choose Amazon!)

For more information on the incredible Arrow back catalogue, visit their site here, or tell them what awesome work they’re doing over at @ArrowFilmsVideo on Twitter.
