Movie News

Back in 2007 audience members gearing up to watch Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS in cinemas across the US were left scratching their heads at the teaser trailer for what would eventually be revealed to us as CLOVERFIELD. The teaser arrived unannounced (even movie sites were unaware of its existence), un-titled and contained only hints as to what it was. It was a masterclass in marketing, resulting in an unprecedented amount of speculation over the coming year. Sure, when it was revealed to be a giant, found footage monster movie by the name of CLOVERFIELD, there were some that were disappointed it wasn't the VOLTRON movie they thought it was, but hey-ho. It was a great flick. Now, nine years late, J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot production outfit are at it again, and have today unveiled an enigmatic new teaser trailer for... something. For a fleeting second the star scape set our fanboy hearts racing that this was the first teaser for EPISODE VII, but those hopes were quickly dashed. Slight disappoint aside, it still looks pretty damn interesting. Check it out in the player below and let us know what you think it is in the Comments...
