Movie News

The much-anticipated (and long-awaited) feature film reboot of the classic 1960s US TV spy adventure The Man From U.N.C.L.E., to be directed by Guy (Sherlock Holmes) Ritchie, starts filming next month with Henry (Superman) Cavill and Armie (The Lone Ranger…but let’s not hold that against him) Hammer locked into their starring roles as super-spies Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin (the characters played on TV by Robert Vaughn and David McCallum). It’s now been announced that the terribly British Hugh Grant, best known for his roles in Richard Curtis romcoms such as Four Weddings And a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love, Actually, has been cast in the so-far unnamed role of “the head of British Naval Intelligence”.  Expect much coy, self-effacing umming and ahhing…

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is expected to hit cinemas sometime in 2014.
