Movie News

WWE Studios’ LEPRECHAUN reboot has now completed filming. Star of the film, WWE Superstar Hornswoggle, took to his Twitter account to confirm the news.

The pint-sized grappler said, “Well that’s a wrap! Thank you to @WWEStudios @WWE and EVERYONE that worked on LEPRECHAUN: ORIGINS! I can’t wait for you guys to see it!”

Another year, another horror remake…

The original LEPRECHAUN film was released in 1993, starring Warwick Davis as the titular character as he tormented anybody he could find, including a pre-nose job Jennifer Aniston. Since then, we’ve seen several sequels. The little man has had six previous outings, including a trip to space, mixing it up with gangsters, and enjoying the fruits of Las Vegas. His last showing came with 2003’s LEPRECHAUN: BACK 2 THA HOOD.

LEPRECHAUN: ORIGINS is directed by Zach Lipovsky, although no release date has yet been revealed.
