Director Edgar Wright has confirmed that he and co-writer Joe Cornish have completed the script for the upcoming Ant-Man movie.

The writer and director told Digital Spy, “The script is all done. I actually put Ant-Man on the back burner to make [The World’s End]”. He seems comfortable and confident in not rushing the film, the thing is, that character’s been around since 1962, so he’s not going anywhere. The later we leave it, the better the special effects will be”.

Any film directed by Edgar Wright is worth a watch, so with the massive budget of a Marvel property, hopefully this will turn out to be something really special.

Check out our recent interview with Edgar Wright, in which he discusses The World's End.

Ant-Man currently has a post-Avengers 2 release of November 6th 2015.
