Rocksteady and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment's Batman: Arkham City is high on pretty much every gamers most wanted list for 2011, and today the collectors edition version of the game was announced with a box full of goodies for those willing to hand over the extra cash.

The Collector’s Edition will include a Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya, a collectible art book, early access downloadable content, a Batman: Arkham City music album and the 2008 DC animated movie Batman: Gotham Knight.

Described as being available only in "limited quantities", one can assume that these will not linger on store shelves for quite as long as the dissapointing collectors edition for Rocksteady's first Batman adventure, Arkham Asylum.

'Batman: Arkham City' is due to be released on October 21st 2011 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
