Movie News

The guys over at Schmoes Know are reporting to have themselves quite the STAR WARS scoop. Not only have they managed to get hold of some plot details for J.J. Abrams EPISODE VII they’ve also got some details on what roles are currently being cast for the film. And so it goes...

Plot: Two 17 year old twins, a girl and a boy, are trained by their uncle Luke to be the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy. Problems arise when the male twin turns to the dark side .

The twins, for those familiar with the STAR WARS Expanded Universe, are the children of Han Solo and Leia. The casting specifics go as follows…

Jaina Solo – Female, 17 years old, lead. Jacen’s twin sister, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy, trained by her uncle Luke Skywalker.

Jacen Solo – Male, 17 years old, lead. Jaina’s twin brother, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the world. A loner who is constantly struggling with the idea of what’s right and what’s wrong. Starts to turn to the dark side. Full of conviction that what he is doing is the ‘right thing’. Will eventually become Darth Caedus.

So, if the above proves true, these are the first plot details that have come out about EPISODE VII (although these details have been rumoured for a while now). Here’s hoping we get to see those stories that we’ve all hoped for... Luke’s turn to the dark side, the death of Chewie, Han’s slide into depression...

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is currently scheduled for a summer 2015 release.
