…for the rekindling of a musical bromance.

Best friends forever Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer will be re-re-re-uniting for Nolan's next directorial gig INTERSTELLAR.

Little and less is known about the film as of the moment - outside of a trickling of casting news - but the return of the master of brassy explosions is a pleasant un-surprise.

A Nolan film without a Zimmer soundtrack is like low-fat cheese: weird tasting and unsatisfying.

INTERSTELLAR is set for release in 2014 and so far includes Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway and Nolan's adoptive father Michael Caine.

If you think you may not last that long without a Zimmer BLAHRM to the face, you can catch his apocalyptic tones in MAN OF STEEL, THE LONE RANGER and TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE this year.
