Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Stephen Strange will be getting an outing as part of Marvel’s Phase Three of films, but CHUD is reporting that they may have already found, and indeed cast, everyone’s favourite sorcerer.

Current rumours claim that Justin Theroux is in advanced talks to play the titular role in DOCTOR STRANGE. Theroux has previous with Marvel Studios, having penned the script for IRON MAN 2. He is also responsible for writing ROCK OF AGES and TROPIC THUNDER, as well as appearing in WANDERLUST, YOUR HIGHNESS and AMERICAN PSYCHO. Aforementioned rumours also claim that, as well as being up for the lead, Theroux is already working on a script for DOCTOR STRANGE.

Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1963, Stephen Strange started left as a New York surgeon that was robbed of his touch after a car accident. Strange eventually ended up coming across an ancient healer in the Himalayas who taught him to tap into his psychic powers. Strange would end up using this power to battle the most bizarre and mystical villains of the Marvel universe.
