Grey’s Anatomy actors Justin Chambers and Kevin McKidd have been announced to head the cast of Warner Premier’s latest animated Justice League movie, based on Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert’s Flashpoint series. Chambers will play The Flash/Barry Allen, the character around which the film centres, with him being largely responsible for creating the Flashpoint Universe. A key character in the Flashpoint Universe is Batman/Thomas Wayne, who will be voiced by McKidd, with Kevin Conroy returning to voice Bruce Wayne in the main DCU sections, which are rumoured to bookend the film.

Also joining the films cast will be Sam Daly as Superman. Daly is the son of Tim Daly who played Superman in numerous DC animated films and the Animated Series. Dana Delany will reprise her role as Lois Lane, as will Emerald Knights actor Nathan Fillion, who returns as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan and Crisis On Two Earths actress Vanessa Marshall, who returns as Wonder Woman.

The rest of the cast includes Michael B. Jordan (Chronicle) as Cyborg, Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride) as Aquaman, C Thomas Howell (The Amazing Spider-Man) as Reverse Flash, Danny Huston (30 Days Of Night) as General Sam Lane and Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke.
