Movie News

Jon Spaihts, the screenwriter who penned the original draft of Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS before they brought in Damon Lindelof to field the entirety of the blame for ropey plotting, has landed the tricky task of turning a movie that was largely unloved upon its release in 1979 into something that will thrill today’s audiences. If Disney thought cinemagoers in 1979 were picky for not embracing THE BLACK HOLE, then they really need to pull off something special to win-over the cynical audiences of 2014! Luckily, Joseph Kosinski (TRON: LEGACY / OBLIVION) is on hand to direct, so at least we’re guaranteed a visual feast.

We’ll have more news on THE BLACK HOLE as it develops…
