ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT’s Judy Greer (“say goodbye to these!) is the latest actor to join the sequel to RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Sadly you won’t be seeing her in the movie though - instead she’ll be squeezing into the mo-cap suit to play the role of Chimpanzee Cornelia (the character was previously played by Devyn Dalton in the 2011 film - wonder what happened there then?).

Greer (an APES obsessive apparently) will join the previously announced Jason Clark (DEATH RACE), Kodi-Smit McPhee (THE ROAD), Gary Oldman (EASTENDERS) and Keri Russell (MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III). CLOVERFIELD’s Matt Reeves will direct for a May 2014 release.

Greer can next be seen in CARRIE, out in the UK November 29th.
