Movie News: Prepare for WORLD WAR Z with a New Trailer and Posters!

Movie News

Though the long production was dogged by regular reports of difficulties, resulting in the release date being moved six months, the footage we've seen of WORLD WAR Z thus far has really impressed. As long as you come at it from the point of view of a) someone who has never read Max Brooks' book, and b) someone who finds validity in both your classic and the more contemporary favoured "fast" zombies. Sure, we'll always plump for the former in terms of which are our favourites, but let's face it, they're both goddamn terrifying in their own ways. Think about which Zombie Apocalypse you'd least like to live through and I guarantee the top three are dominated by the likes of 28 DAYS LATER... and Zack Snyder's DAWN OF THE DEAD (even Rick Grimes and co. would struggle surviving either of those scenarios). And with that in mind, WWZ looks like it might just top that list come its June release.

Below you'll find the brand new trailer, which if we're honest doesn't quite pack quite the same punch as the first, and the newly released posters, which absolutely top their predecessor (above). In fact, I hope the movie delivers just so I can get that b&w version framed and up on my wall!
