Movie News

Now this is very cool! In an initiative with BlackBerry 10, filmmaker Robert Rodriguez has taken a break from shooting SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR and completing post on MACHETE KILLS to dream up TWO SCOOPS, a Grindhouse-esque short starring PLANET TERROR’s Electra & Elise Avellan as monster hunters posing as innocent Ice Cream vendors, and he needs your help to complete it! (Best of all, you don’t need to afford a BlackBerry 10 to join in the fun.)

Opportunities to aid the completion of the film include: shooting the ‘missing scene’ based on Rodriguez’s script; upload a picture of yourself to be included amongst the ‘Missing Persons’ posters; design a monster for the Twins to battle or create one their many weapons with which they’ll use to kill it with!

Sounds interesting, right? Well check out the following videos for all the details, starting with the announcement video/BlackBerry ad (feel free to skip), followed by the awesome trailer and comprehensive details in the third. Maybe we’ll one day see this turned into a feature MACHETE style!
