Movie News: Director Rob Letterman’s Got GOOSEBUMPS

MONSTERS VS. ALIENS helmer Rob Letterman has been picked to direct Sony Pictures’ big screen adaptation of R.L. Stine’s beloved series of children’s books, GOOSEBUMPS. The property has previously been mined for TV and ran for four seasons from 1995 - 1998, but this will mark its first feature film outing.

There’s no details at present as to which tale Sony have tasked writer Darren Lemke (JACK THE GIANT SLAYER / SHREK FOREVER AFTER) to tackle, or whether they’ll go the anthology route, possibly featuring interconnected stories, but we’ll keep you up to date as it develops…
